Marcella Vision

Art, Architecture, and Trust in Motion

Marcella Vision is not a collection of individual paintings.
It is a single, unfolding work told across many walls.

This project began during a season of uncertainty in my life. I was navigating the aftermath of divorce, questioning direction, and asking what the next chapter should look like—not just professionally, but personally. What I felt clearly was this: I needed to return fully to my art and allow it to lead.

What I didn’t yet know was how that would be possible.

How This Project Began

Through a conversation that started casually and became deeply intentional, my friendsTodd and Rebecca Astillinvited me into an idea that would eventually become Marcella Vision.

They were building a home inMarcella, Park City, with the intention of presenting it in thePark City Showcase of Homes. Rather than treating artwork as decoration, they wanted it to be foundational—integrated into the architecture, mood, and narrative of the space.

Their proposal was simple and extraordinary:

  • I would create all of the original artwork for the home

  • They would finance the project for one year

  • They would open their home to me so I could live, paint, and execute the series fully

What they offered was not just opportunity.
They offeredtrust.

A Living Studio

Marcella Vision exists because hospitality met faith at the right moment.

Having a place to live, a place to paint, and the freedom to work without distraction allowed me to approach this project with intention and depth. Each piece was created with the understanding that it would not stand alone, but would speak to the others—visually, emotionally, and symbolically.

This is not a gallery drop.
It is a long-form composition.

Art With Context

Every artwork in this home has:

  • A specific place

  • A reason for its scale

  • A color language

  • A story behind its creation

Many of the works areColor Chorded—a process I developed that translates musical structure, rhythm, and emotional cadence into color relationships within a painting. Music acts as an underlying score, guiding tone and energy rather than dictating imagery.

Together, the paintings form a visual rhythm that moves through the home the same way music moves through time.

Experiencing the Work

As you move through the house, you’ll noticeQR codesplaced near select pieces. These are not sales tools—they are invitations.

Each code leads to the artwork’s page, where you can:

  • View details about the piece

  • Learn about its symbolism and color language

  • Explore the broader Marcella Vision story

You can engage as lightly or as deeply as you choose.

Why Marcella Vision Matters

This project represents a convergence:

  • Of art and architecture

  • Of trust and timing

  • Of uncertainty giving way to clarity

It is a reminder that sometimes the path forward doesn’t appear fully formed. Sometimes it appears through people willing to say,“We believe in what you’re building.”

Marcella Vision is still unfolding.
Each painting adds another sentence to the story.

Thank you for taking the time to step into it.
