Muldoon is the first completed work in a private commission for a home being built in Marcella, Park City. This project exists because of trust—Todd and Rebecca Astill opened their home to me so I could live, work, and paint the full series destined for their residence and eventual debut at the Park City Showcase of Homes.

The moose stands centered within a field of aspens, not in motion, but in awareness. He is neither aggressive nor passive—he simply is. Muldoon represents grounded strength, patience, and quiet authority: a presence that doesn’t demand attention yet commands respect.

Color Chorded to Awake My Soul by Mumford & Sons, the palette draws from warmth, restraint, and gradual lift. Earth tones anchor the composition while subtle contrast builds upward, mirroring the song’s themes of humility, resolve, and inner awakening. This is strength expressed through steadiness rather than spectacle—a reminder that true power often speaks softly.
